POTENTIALLY life-saving flu jabs are still on offer to those most at risk from the virus.
Anyone who has yet to get a jab is being urged to visit their GP by Lancashire's champion for older people, County Coun Dorothy Westell.
Coun Westell said: "The jab is the best form of protection against flu and it's never too late to get a jab - until you catch flu!
"It's quick, painless, and is well worth doing.
"I want to make sure that those most at risk such as older people take advantage.
"Most people who need their jab, including me, have already been to their GP.
"But there will be one or two people who may have forgotten who would benefit from the extra protection the jab will give them."
The injections are available free to people if:
They are aged 65 or over
They are living in an old people's home or nursing home
If they have a long-term chronic condition such as a heart problem, asthma, kidney disease, diabetes, or
If they have a lowered immune system due to disease or treatment such as steroid medication or cancer treatment.
