ARMED robbers threatened an employee at a bank in Prestwich and escaped with a quantity of cash.
Three armed men approached the 31-year-old man at the side of Barclays Bank in Bury New Road, near the night safe deposit box, at about 4.30pm on Boxing Day.
They threatened him and ordered him to hand over cash before escaping. The men were ressed in black, were between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall, and their faces were hidden with scarves and hooded tops.
Police are urging witnesses or anyone with any information to contact Bury CID on 0161 856 8150, or to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
