DETECTIVES are still trying to trace the last movements of a 31-year-old Leigh man who was hit by a car as he walked along the M62.
Anthony Stuart Williamson, of Hooten Lane, died instantly after he collided with a Nissan Micra near to the junction seven at Rainhill, Merseyside, on Saturday, December 20
Police say they are still not sure why the father-of-one was walking along the westbound carriageway or where he was going. Mr Williamson was last seen at the Hillcrest Hotel, Cronton, Merseyside, at about 2.30am by a friend.
Police have appealed for any taxi driver who may have picked him up that night or motorists who may have seen him on the motorway to come forward.
