MORE than sixty businesswomen gathered in Burnley for the Women Into Business Network Christmas market.
Local entrepreneurs got into the Christmas swing at the event, held at the town's Business Centre and organised by Burnley Enterprise.
The evening began with a presentation to Kiran Mehnaz from Rivaaz Collections, Burnley, who won the under-21 category in the NatWest Everywoman awards on December 4.
The guest speaker for the evening was Burnley businesswoman Brenda de Vall who owns ABC First Aid training.
Brenda told how she set up her business back in 1979 and how over the years it had grown and developed.
Mrs de Vall now employs six people and offers first aid training to companies all over the country.
Co-ordinator Leane Kelly said the market gave the women a chance to sell a variety of products, as well as form new business relationships.
