THE recent Christmas Fair at St Mark's Church was another brilliant success. A great deal of hard work was done by a few dedicated people to organise the work.
The church hall was a hive of activity with stalls doing a roaring trade.
A grand total of £1,800 was raised for church funds. A big thank you to all the helpers and customers who helped to make it a success.

THE family social evening at St Mark's Church for Saturday, January 4, 2004 has been cancelled until February.
A LOCAL resident has taken a photograph of dumped rubbish at Imperial Mill, Rosegrove, and passed it to Stuart Caddy at his surgery on Saturday morning at the library. The complaint has been passed on to the environmental health department to investigate and take the necessary action.
IF you are interested in courses in Spanish, French, Introduction to Computers or other subjects, call in at Rosegrove Action Group Shop, 12 Lowerhouse Lane, Rosegrove.
Lancashire County Council Adult Education Service will run the courses from the shop if there is a minimum of eight people and it will be free of charge. Anyone can attend.
