REGARDING your story about parking wardens being employed in Barnoldswick to stop able-bodied people using disabled spaces (LET, December 30).
Yes, I agree it is a good idea to stop people from parking in disabled parking bays when they don't have a disabled badge. But one of the main problems is that Barnoldswick Town Council has changed all the parent and child parking spaces to disabled ones on the main car park. There are now 12 disabled parking spaces and no parent and child ones. Is this the only town in the country that has no children?
