ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman revealed he would only have a passing interest in this afternoon's FA Cup draw.

The re-formed club have never reached the fourth round of the competition, but Coleman says he and his players cannot look too far ahead.

"As it stands we're only in the third round," the Reds boss said.

"The draw's just a passing interest. It was the same when we drew at Bournemouth.

"It's just a matter of fact that if we win the replay we know who we're going to get in the next round."

But Coleman believes there is no reason why Stanley can't earn their third Football League scalp of the competition.

"It's only 11 against 11 on a rectangle," he said.

"We'd expect them to come out at us a bit more and might be a bit more positive attacking wise at their place.

"But we're not bad on the counter attack as well, we've got a little bit of pace."

He added: "I'm proud of the way we approached the game.

"At times there were three or four players who looked out on their feet. We were like a boxer on the ropes.

"But we've still come back and I think, chance for chance, we made more than them.

"If you take that as a yardstick I think we deserved to win the game.

"But there's no point bleating about what might have been. We've got to do the hard work at their place and try to get a result."
