OLDER people living in Rossendale can take advantage of a new service that is aimed to help make life easier.
Help is on offer to all older people and their carers in the Valley for everything from welfare benefits, pension credits and housing concerns to consumer problems, form filling and letter writing.
Age Concern Lancashire has been awarded money from the Community Fund and is holding advice sessions at 9-11 King Street, Bacup, every Friday morning from 10am-12.30pm.
People are urged to make use of the new service. To book an appointment or for more detail ring Eileen on 01706 879086.
The service is free and confidential to anyone wanting information. Leaflets are also available from the Bacup shop.
