TWO cycling projects have received government funding as part of the commitment to increase levels of pedal pushing.
Wigan and Leigh College has been awarded £13,000 for improved facilities including cycle parking, showers and promotional material as part of the college travel plan to encourage staff and students to use pedal power. Lowton St Luke's CE Primary School has been given £1,150 for secure cycle storage and training as part of its school travel plan.
