SHUIAB Khan, in his Friday column (December 12) complained about drivers using four headlights when two would do. I agree, many drivers are unaware that lights below the bumper are fog-lights not driving lamps and should only be used in fog or poor visibility. He follows this point with another 'wry' comment on excessive Whalley Range safety measures (speed camera, speed bumps, traffic calming). Are they not all necessary because the standard of driving is so bad?
