HIGH-FLYING youngsters fired a volley of questions at armed police when they gave a talk to Radcliffe Air Training Corps (ATC) members.
Members of the Greater Manchester Police Armed Response Unit had only been scheduled for a 60-minute talk to the youngsters but stayed for nearly three hours chatting with the eager kids.
PCs Pam Mortimer, Clive Waddicor and Gareth Wright, of the Armed Response Unit, are pictured with the cadets and a selection of real and replica weapons
The Armed Response Unit's visit to the Knowles Street headquarters had a double-barrelled aim.
The scheme aimed to teach the young cadets of the dangers of guns and to educate them on the work of the team as part of a Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme project.
