A WOMAN tutor was confronted by two knife-wielding thugs who stole her car.
The 47-year-old lecturer was approached at 12.30pm on Tuesday by the two armed men in the grounds of Radcliffe High School in Abden Street.
She works as a part-time tutor at the adult learning centre on the site.
Police say the pair, who both wore balaclavas, threatened her with a knife before taking the car keys from her.
They sped off in the woman's silver Volkswagen Golf, registration V5ONE, which has not been recovered.
Both robbers were white.
One was in his early 20s, 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build and wore a black jacket, dark trousers and a dark balaclava. He spoke with a local accent.
His accomplice, armed with the knife, was 5ft 6ins tall, slim, aged in his late teens and also wore dark clothing and a black balaclava.
