BOSSES are calling on their staff to get fit and healthy.
All this week, managers at the 02 Contact Centre on Dumers Lane, Bury, have been treating their employees to massages, fresh fruit, vitamin supplements and healthy food alternatives.
They have also enlisted the help of LA Fitness and Fitness First to give their staff fitness checks.
Yesterday the call centre held a no-smoking day and anyone caught lighting up had their photo put up in a gallery of shame!
Today the health and fitness awareness week will end with staff receiving a back, neck and shoulder massage by a qualified masseur.
Vanessa Wright, communications co-ordinator, said: "This is our way to boost morale over what is a busy period for our staff.
"The New Year is a great time to start eating more healthily, and I think that staff are really taking on board what they have learnt."
Miss Wright added: "All in all it has been fun week and will allow everyone to start the year as they mean to go on. Appointments for the massages are proving very popular."
