BRIERCLIFFE Police Office is now open once a week for anyone who wants to discuss crime and disorder issues with their local community policing team.
After a minor revamp, the office will be open from noon to 2pm every Monday.
Either PC Ian Thompson or PCSO Dave Johnson will be at the office to offer advice and listen to concerns about crime.
PC Ian Thompson said: "The office will not be staffed full-time because we want to spend the vast majority of our time out and about in our local community -- people want their bobbies out on the beat not sat in an office.
"However, we will be open every Monday so that people can come and see us to discuss local policing issues."
PCSO Dave Johnson added: "If you're a local resident and you haven't yet met either myself of Ian, then these sessions are an ideal opportunity for you to come along and say hello."
