WORKERS were evacuated when fire broke out at a wallpaper factory.
The blaze happened at Zen Wallcoverings Limited, in Cross Street, Darwen, at 1.30pm yesterday.
The fire is believed to have started in two heating embossing machines and then spread.
Four pumps were used to tackle the fire, which covered 60 metres of ducting, with help from the Accrington incident support unit.
Firefighters used three triple extension ladders and thermal imaging cameras bring the blaze under control.
