FARMERS' markets throughout the region have been awarded an annual accolade to recognise their support of local produce.
The Ramsbottom and Pendle markets have each received certificates from the National Association of Farmers Markets.
Everything from ostrich meat to homemade cakes, pies and fudge are available at the markets.
John Anderson, Colne Market Hall keeper, said: "We have farmers from Clitheroe, Bury and Cowling on the market. They are extremely popular and have been running for the past two years."
He added: "The certificates are a really good idea because it prevents farmers from using wholesalers products and claiming it to be their own produce."
Pendle's markets are held on the third Saturday of every month. Anyone wanting further information about the next Ramsbottom Market should contact Bury Tourist Information Centre on 0161 253 5111.
