ONE of Lancashire's most renowned restaurants has been short-listed for a top award.
Northcote Manor, in Blackburn, owned by celebrity chef Nigel Haworth, has been nominated in the 'Restaurant's Restaurant' category in the Hi-Life Diners Club 'Restaurant of the Year Awards.'
The ceremony will take place at the Lowry Hotel, in Salford, on January 30.
At the ceremony, TV presenter Anthony Wilson will be hosting an auction in aid of the charity Christies Against Cancer and other famous faces attending will include Coronation Street cast members Vicky Entwistle, who plays Janice Battersby, Johnny Briggs, who plays Mike Baldwin and William Roache, Ken Barlow.
Internationally-famed chef Raymond Blanc will also be there.
