THE latest production from Greenbrook Methodist Church Pantomime Society -- Panto of the Opera -- has been written and produced by Burnley man, Edward Munday.

The age of disco has been put into the panto to give it an uptempo feel -- with good battling evil as the Phantom tries to steal the girl while searching for the Mystical Mask that gives him the power to control peoples will.

Things are going well for the Phantom until he becomes hotly pursued by the Dame. Performances based at the Lowerhouse church takes place from todayto January 17 from 7.30pm, with an afternoon performance on January 17 at 2.30pm.

Tickets are between £3 and £4 and family tickets including two adults and three children are £12. Tickets available on the door or by contacting 01282 424879.
