THE first adult anti-social behaviour order to be issued in Rossendale has been served on a 25-year-old man.
Community Beat Manager Clare Di Michele and Anti-Social Behaviour Officer PC Wood secured the order on Ryan Anderson, 25, of Rossendale.
Anderson is now banned from entering licensed premises in the Rossendale Pub Watch Scheme, shops in the Clean-up Rossendale East scheme, and certain areas of the Valley.
He is also odered not to cause any harassment, alarm or distress to any person or incite such behaviour, including any threat or swearing. Claire Di Michele said: "He was causing numerous problems in Bacup. This included being drunk and disorderly, committing various public order offences and committing violence and criminal damage. Hopefully this ASBO will help protect residents and businesses ."
