BLACKBURN band The Rising will be performing at Manchesters Life Cafe on Wednesday at a prestigious showcase gig.
Record company executives from London are expected to be at the gig organised by HMV.
As well as playing live, the four-piece will also have their CD, The Rising, promoted heavily in HMV's flagship store in Manchester.
