BAD blood between two teenagers proved costly for one of them, a court was told.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Anthony John Lomax, 19, of Queensway repeatedly kicked the door of a house where his 'adversary' was living.
And they ordered him to pay £600 to replace the UPVC door which was badly damaged by his onslaught.
Lomax pleaded guilty to criminal damage and as well as the compensation was ordered to pay £65 costs.
Eddie Harrison, prosecuting, said Lomax and three other youths at called at the house in Brookway, Blackburn, after midnight. There was a disturbance which woke neighbours and one person who went out to remonstrate was hit.
"Lomax was seen to run at the door and kick it repeatedly," said Mr Harrison.
Grahan Tindall, defending, said there was bad blood between Lomax and one of the people inside the house.
"He regrets that other people have become involved and suffered as a result," said Mr Tindall.
