FOLLOWING the match against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, we were extremely disappointed in the outcome of the game. It is becoming increasingly obvious that the Rovers are in serious trouble.
Why, oh why then, does the board of directors not see what is staring them in the face and the fact that they now need to go out and get at least a central defender and a midfield player, despite the supposed lack of funds?
Either invest now or pay later. That is what this comes down to. Graeme Souness is an excellent coach who deserves full backing from the board. It is obvious to everyone that this team right now just isn't good enough, due to the injuries we have sustained in recent weeks.
Unless Graeme Souness gets the funds needed then I hate to think what the outcome will be at the end of the season.
