I WAS invited to Brockhall on Saturday to go and watch Blackburn Rovers Under-17s, who were playing Crewe Alexandra.
I was highly delighted with the standard of football these boys were producing and several players caught my eye, in particular Joe Garner, a very promising young goalscorer.
When I was leaving the ground I was informed that the FA Youth Cup match against West Brom was being moved to Morecambe FC instead of Ewood Park.
Most of these boys look forward to playing on their own ground and, as a long-standing season ticket holder, I also look forward to seeing the youth team play at Ewood.
It's an important part of the club that we see these boys play for the future of the club.
I have looked at the fixtures and there is only one senior game left in January so I can't understand why the boys can't play at Ewood.
As a season ticket holder, I feel strongly against this.
