A SINGLE mother who went shoplifting breached nine court orders at once but kept her freedom.
Jane Elizabeth Rosalyn Payne, 26, was given a 12 months community rehabilitation order by Burnley Magistrates, to include the Addressing Substance Related Offending Programme, and ordered to pay £65 costs.
Bench chairman Carol Stinton told the defendant, who had failed to respond to sentences in the past, she had to stay out of trouble for her little girl.
Payne sobbed as the magistrate went on: "She doesn't want her mum to go to prison but if you breach this order, you will be going there."
Payne, of Queen Victoria Road, Burnley, admitted stealing from shop premises and nine allegations of committing a further offence during a conditional discharge.
The court was told Payne took meat and cosmetics worth £76 from Asda. She also helped herself to four tops worth £44 from Internacionale in Burnley.
