THE cast of Tyldesley Little Theatre's latest production will be made up to perfection.
When they appear in the first show of the year, the hilarious and poignant comedy drama Groping For Words, written by Adrian Mole creator Sue Townsend, they will be worked on by ace make-up artist Lisa Taylor.
Lisa recently finished training at Wigan and Leigh College and is now the proud owner of an International Health and Beauty Council Diploma in Theatrical and Media Make-up.
She recently won plaudits for her detailed designs in the company's annual pantomime including the ever-present Dame, a tiger and demon complete with prosthetic horns.
The play runs from February 3-7 and tells a warm-hearted tale following the trials and tribulations of an adult literacy class run by the middle class Joyce.
Her pupils are Thelme, a nanny, and George, who is living in a hostel. Their efforts are constantly ridiculed by caretaker Kevin who hides his own inadequacies by undermining the others' efforts.
Tickets are available on 01204 655619 or 01942 886908.
