TOASTMASTER Stephen Sanders spoke about his unusual working life to Tyldesley Probus Club members.
An Associate Member of the Northern Guild of Toastmasters and mace bearer to the Mayor of Bury, he was present when the Queen lunched at Bury town hall after opening the Metrolink there in 1992.
