DRINKERS who spill out onto the pavement outside town centre pubs in Tyldesley will be breaking the law from February.
Councillor Sue Loudon, Chairman of the Risk Management Group behind the moves said the rule would be introduced in February making it an offence to drink on the pavement outside the main street pubs.
"It is all a matter of safety, on hot summer nights pavements are often blocked with drinkers forcing people into the road, which is dangerous," she said.
