BOLTON'S traffic officers are moving to Leigh following a major shake-up within Greater Manchester Police.
All 11 of the force's original divisional traffic departments have now been reorganised into five larger road policing units covering five areas.
Bolton's section, which is currently based in Castle Street, has been amalgamated with Leigh and Wigan.
Although the supervisors have this week moved to Leigh Police Station, patrol officers will remain in their current home until new premises have been built.
