A MOTORIST who behaved indecently towards a 15-year-old girl in the Leigh area appeared at Liverpool Crown Court.
Alan Hughes, aged 23, was due to be sentenced for committing an act of gross indecency but the case was adjourned until January 20 so he can be assessed for suitability on a probation-run sex offenders' programme.
His barrister, Charles Lander, also asked for the adjournment so that details of his record, which Hughes disputes, can be verified.
Hughes, of Smithfield Street, Parr, was further remanded on bail, conditions of which include not to enter the Leigh or Golborne areas. He had admitted committing the offence on June 15 last year.
