I WAS appalled by the state of the new bus stop in Market Street, Atherton, when I passed at 3pm the other Monday. It was full of discarded food boxes and rubbish.
I wouldn't mind but there is a bin only two feet away.
Platt Lane, the country road between Atherton and Chequerbent, once again looks like a fast food rubbish bin - and some scruffy oaf has even left a microwave oven by the side of the road. It musn't be any good because it's been there for weeks.
