I FEEL nothing but contempt for the two despicable drunken burglars who microwaved a live pet mouse with carrots and potatoes and beheaded an 19-years-old blind and much loved cat for its owner to find on his coffee table.
Wicked Steven Browitt, of Hindley, and Andrew Maloney, of Scholes, are now languishing where they deserve to be -- in prison after pleading guilty to burglary with intent to cause criminal damage at the poor 48-year-old man's home.
My heart goes out to the pet lover who was devastated by such callous action which took away a part of his life and who has now decided to leave the borough in fear for his life.
I don't know how anyone can be so evil. They ought to be left to rot.
