THERE'S hope at last for women sick of coping with slobby and couch potato partners like Les Battersby or Jim Royle.
Channel 4 are producing a makeover programme and inviting couples from the Leigh area to take part.
They want desperate women who would like their men improved, or men who think they could scrub up well, to get in touch.
It's a big opportunity for females at the end of their tether to stop moaning and transform the men they live with.
They're looking for lazyituses, sloths, men who've stopped washing their hair or brushing their teeth, football lads who've forgotten what a woman is or old rockers who haven't noticed they're not 19 anymore.
Two style-lifestyle-image experts will be sent out to successful candidates in the hope that they can create the perfect man.
Will that ever be?
The company is looking for lively and outgoing couples ready for a challenge who should ring 020 7751 7387 for details.
