LEIGH Miners Rangers U12s had to come from behind to snatch an 18-16 cup victory over West Bank Bears.

Slack tackling saw the Bears race into a 12-0 lead before half time.

The second half saw the Rangers take control. Ashton powered over to start the fightback and a clever kick from Myers gave Keegan a try. Myers then took a pass of Sarsfield to put his side 14-12 up.

With time running out the Bears grabbed a 16-14 lead but clever play by Ogden and Kenny saw Myers go in for the winner.
