RAMSBOTTOM United boss Vince Overson suddenly finds himself with a selection headache over his goalkeepers.
After losing Paul Eatock to Salford City, United signed Paul Horridge from Bacup Borough, but he was on holiday for last Saturday's trip to Glossop North End.
Steve Lyons came in from Abbey Hey for the 3-3 draw but with Horridge returning today, he faces a fight to keep his place when the Rams go to Newcastle Town in NWCL Division One tomorrow.
Overson said: "Steve did a brilliant job for us and he's still in contention for a place. but with Paul coming back I'll have to sit down with Ged (Walsh) and discuss it."
Lyons' first appearance for United ended in despair as Glossop scored an injury time penalty to complete their recovery from two goals down.
Overson said: "At half-time we were 3-1 up and cruising but they came out all guns blazing and we sat back too deep.
"The last couple of games we haven't battled hard enough and buckled too easily, but on Saturday we chased them and broke the play down.
"Things are looking okay but we conceded goals from silly mistakes, they didn't have to work for them."
Chris Clarke is back from suspension tomorrow but Mark Brown, Gareth Gardiner and Luke Hardman are likely to miss the game with injury.
However, Overson is looking forward to playing on a surface that suits his team's style.
He added: "Glossop was awful but Newcastle's is a very good pitch. I used to play there every pre-season in a friendly when I was at Stoke.
"We're not direct, we're a footballing side, so a decent pitch will be a plus point."
