I agreed wholeheartedly with the comments of Miss S Moore - 'Isn't our right to pray in a mosque?'
Her letter was very well received by myself and some of my friends who agree that mosques should play a more active part within the community. If there was a section where females in the community could meet I feel it would be beneficial to us all. The mosque is the house of Allah and I know some of them do open their doors to females but it should be done more widely so we can talk to each other about Islam and learn more.
If we can learn more we can become better Muslims.
I still think though that some women do feel intimidated by the fact that most mosques are run by males.
