ATHERTON Collieries were without a game last Saturday, but manager Alan Lord made sure that the fitness level of his squad didn't drop by organising three training sessions during the week.
Unbeaten in their last three matches, the club is still in a relegation spot but confidence is high that if the recent form is maintained, what at one time seemed an impossible task could be achieved.
This weekend sees sixth from top of the league Alsager Town visit Alder
House and the local team will be hoping for a good result to continue the upward momentum, kick off 3pm.
