HINDSFORD had an excellent away win on Saturday beating second placed Old Alt's 5-2.

The home team started strongly and forced a couple of good saves from Barry Edge before Hindsford took the lead when Darren Seymour challenged the keeper with a strong tackle and forced the ball home.

Hindsford defended well with the back four of Chris Cunliffe, Simon Hampson ,Paul Cunliffe and Stuart Lomax managing to restrict Alt's chances and then just before half time Darren Seymour found space on the edge of the box and beat the keeper with a well placed shot.

Hindsford soon got a fourth at the start of the second half when following some good work and cross from Mark Morris, Ryan Willett challenged the keeper and Danny Woods headed home the loose ball.

Hindsford were well on top and dominated the game and with Des Morris prominent in midfield they dictated the play and following a good run and pass from Chris Cunliffe, Dave Fashou slipped the defence and calmly made it five. Alt's managed a second when they caught Hindsford on the break but Hindsford finished comfortable winners.
