TO say Radcliffe Boro boss Kevin Glendon is not a happy chappy would be an understatement.

Speaking of his side's humiliating defeat 6-2 defeat at the hands of Gainsborough Trinity Glendon said: "I thought we were getting away from our defensive problems but we collapsed again and I was bitterly disappointed.

"Defensively we are just not good enough, we have major problems. You can work on things time and again but you can't plan for mistakes.

"The first three goals all came from mistakes. The first was down to complacency, the second poor positioning, and the third a lack of concentration.

"It doesn't matter how good you are or what standard you've played at before, UniBond League football is a very difficult level to play at because players will always catch you out.

"So we will be making as many changes as we can. If it means bringing someone in as a quick fix, a short term signing to plug a gap, I'll do it.

"I'll also be considering our youngsters too, because they can't be any worse than what we've got.

"All I want is four defenders who can defend. It's not a lot to ask.

"I've been enquiring about defenders constantly but clubs are understandably reluctant to part with their best players at this stage of the season.

"I'm trying league clubs to see if they'll let me have one or two lads on loan, anything to stop the rot and lift our confidence."
