A POLL on plans for a North West Regional Assembly show many people are still undecided.
While 32 percent said they would vote in favour of the elected body, 27 per cent said they would vote against and the remainder said they did not know how they would vote.
The poll was commissioned by the Conservative Group on the Local Government Association.
Besses ward councillor Derek Boden, who is leader of the assembly, said: "This poll confirms there is a real need for a free and open debate."
