A DRUG addict who flouted a court order for a third time is starting a four-month jail term.
Burnley magistrates yesterday revoked the community rehabilitation imposed on Michelle Marie Smith, 27, who stuffed heroin down her bra.
They told her no sentence other than custody was appropriate.
Smith, of Oxford Road, Burnley, admitted two counts of failing to comply with a community rehabilitation order.
Carl Gaffney, prosecuting, told the court police executed a search warrant at the defendant's home.
Officers found some burned foil on a coffee table, which was later found to have traces of heroin on it. They then searched Smith and found two polythene bags containing drugs in her bra.
The court was told Smith had failed to attend probation appointments. Probation staff thought she would not comply with the requirements of the community order as she had breached it three times.
