SHOPPERS at a Burnley supermarket will be able to pick up information on the services provided by the county council along with their groceries this week.
The Lancashire County Council trailer will make its fourth visit to the town on Thursday. It will be at Sainsbury's between 10am and 6pm.
County councillors Marcus Johnstone, Tony Martin, Terry Burns and Irene Roberts will be on hand during the day, along with council staff, to answer questions from the public.
County Coun Johnstone, cabinet member for cultural services and communications, said: "Lancashire County Council provides a great many services for our residents but while some are well known others receive less recognition.
"This is your chance to find out exactly how your money is spent."
The trailer, which proved a hit with shoppers when it was last in Burnley, is a mine of information for the public. As well as being able to pose questions on local issues they can also pick up a wide range of leaflets giving details of county council services.
