BUS passengers are advised that the annual Chinese New Year celebrations taking place in Manchester on Sunday will affect bus services entering and leaving the city centre.
Various road closures mean that many bus services, including the free city centre Metroshuttle services, will follow diversions. The Charlotte Street Metroshuttle stop will be out of use due to the closure of this road and passengers can be picked up at the Portland Tower bus stop on Portland Street.
Passengers are advised to check their services via www.gmpte.com and also our new public transport link
Alternatively try Greater Manchester's Public Transport Information Line on 0161-228 7811. Lines are open between 7am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm on weekends. Minicom is available on this number if required.
