SOUP boats sailed in Blackburn streets to aid families hit by a huge flood.
Rows of houses, several mills and other premises were flooded for a second time at midnight after being hit during the afternoon.
A relief fund was set up by the Mayor of Blackburn, Coun Robert Weir, to help recompense the unfortunate families whose homes and belongings were damaged.
