A RAWTENSTALL shop assistant was robbed after being lured to a pub car park by men offering to sell her cheap cigarettes.
One of the men went into the town centre store and offered staff the cigarettes.
He said they were in his car and one of them went with him to collect the cigarettes after agreeing to buy some.
He led her round the back of the Dale Pub, in Bank Street, where he and another man pushed her against a wall and stole her money.
The men, who then fled the scene, one running through the pub and the other down the street, are both described as being 18 years old, around 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in tall and of medium build.
One was wearing a dark coloured coat and a red and black scarf, black trousers and scruffy white trainers.
The other was wearing dark blue trousers, possibly jeans, a white jumper and a white baseball cap.
Anyone with information about the incident, which happened on Friday, January 16, at 5pm, is asked to contact Rawtenstall CID on 01706 237440 or Brent Fielding on 01282 472159.
