AN OPEN day is being organised so visitors to a popular Leigh park can have a say in its future.
Wigan's Leisure and Culture Trust has organised an open day at Lilford Park where some of the ideas for the park's future will be on display in a marquee in the car park on Friday between 3pm and 6pm.
Parks Community Liaison Officer Mike Berry said: "Lilford will be 100 years old in 2015 and we thought it would be a good idea to look at developing the park, particularly now that the animal park is closed."
