RESIDENTS of Longridge will be able to have their say over its future development at an exhibition to be held in the town.
Longridge Market Town Initiative (MTI) are staging the consultation day in the Longridge Youth and Community Centre on January 29 between 10am and 7pm.
There, residents will be encouraged to contribute views on how they wish the town to develop. The findings will be fed into a health check and will influence the development of projects in the town over the next five years.
In conjunction with MTI, Longridge Partnership Action Group have appointed regeneration group BE Group to undertake a six-month study into the provision of services and facilities.
This will follow the development of projects to meet the needs of businesses and residents.
MTI is part of the national Market Town Programme and is funded by the Countryside Agency, Lancashire County Council and the North West Development Agency.
