NEW northern pop sensation The Randoms, have taken the North West by storm.
Their last-minute addition to an exclusive music-insider disc of new songs has confirmed their status as "the band to watch."
Sell-out crowds have gone wild when the five boys from Leigh have taken to the stage. Not for the fainthearted, the band clearly aren't just another set of kids with guitars.
The band has been approached by 'The White label' which is an industry standard compilation that goes out to over 1500 professionals including record labels, advertising agencies, press, radio, dj's, etc. The track "We Don't Care" has already featured on radio play lists nationwide as The Randoms spent the summer touring radio roadshows.
One reviewer wrote: "They describe themselves as a pop band from Leigh, but more rock than pop for me, great guitar playing full of enthusiasm and energy. Lead vocalist really ripped into audience and got them going! The message boards of music fans were buzzing with the revelation of the band; the mixture of old time rock'n'roll and bang-up-to-date looks are bringing in fans of every flavour!
The line-up is: Greg Derbyshire (vocals), Tim Matthews (guitar), Alex Lomas (guitar), Robbie Rees (bass), Sam Shields (drums). For more information and to and to check out the fantastic "We Don't Care" visit www.therandoms.com
