A £2million bid made for Ricardo Fuller by a Premiership club has been thrown out, North End have confirmed.
The club's board have refused to say who the bid was from and, in a statement, said 'it was received more than a week ago and was considerably below our valuation for Ricardo Fuller.'
Wolves are the latest club to be linked with Fuller. In the last week, they have moved to sign Newcastle Carl Cort for £2million.
Fulham - who are said to still be interested in Fuller despite buying American Brian McBride - Portsmouth and Middlesbrough are the other clubs linked with Fuller.
In the meantime, Preston are continuing to give Argentinian midfielder Gaston Sangoy the once-over. The Boca Juniors 19-year-old scored once and created two in Preston 5-1 win over Rotherham in the reserves.
