AFTER reading Tuesday's Lancashire Evening Telegraph and being informed that I am a goth because I have facial piercings, I have to say I found this quite discriminatory.
This has not annoyed me as much as the fact you have branded these teenagers as goths, should we not be treating people as individuals and not categorising them?
However I have noticed a number of the individuals are from Clitheroe. Abuse problems from these teenagers has never occurred in our small town that I know of. Indeed it has been the other way around.
The goths have been subjected to ridicule from townies, in fact many of the youngsters shown spent a lot of their time on Clitheroe's skate park, which has now been closed down.
Maybe the council should put more money into the regeneration of these schemes instead of useless expensive art that we are now seeing on the streets of Blackburn and other areas.
