DARWEN are hoping Andy Walsh will make a full recovery from a crushed foot he sustained in a car accident.
The 33-year-old has had pins and bolts placed into each toe on his foot and is in plaster froim his knee down following last week's accident at a roundabout in Preston.
Darwen manager Steve Wilkes said: "We all send our best wishes to Andy and his family."

PADIHAM manager Graham Howarth has urged his side to have the same enthusiasm for every game.
The Storks chief has been delighted with his side's performances in derby showdowns, particularly with Colne and Nelson, but has been frustrated by their failure to reproduce the same form in other league games.
"We're undefeated in the derby games but unfortunately when it comes to other teams we should be beating we don't want to compete at times," said Howarth ahead of their trip to Holker Old Boys.
"If we can't get three points in those games we don't deserve to be up there in the league."
NELSON entertain Ashton looking to impress new manager Mick Molloy.
If the Blues manage to bounce back from last weekend's disappointing 2-0 defeat at Norton United to earn three points they would leapfrog Ashton in the North West Counties Division Two table.
